Hook In Cleaning’s journey started with a humble beginning, when David Elton’s (business owner) time in the Australian Defence Force came to an end, he for the first time in 30 years contemplated what he wanted to do next in his career. His attention to detail, discipline and strong work ethic combined with his perfectionist traits placed him well suited for a business in the professional cleaning industry. His senior defense qualifications garnished him with the skills to manage a successful business.
To him, cleaning was not an activity or a chore. Rather, it was a state of mind, an emotion, a feeling, and he wanted to emulate that feeling toward everyone, so that others, too, could relish in that clean state of mind. To make this vision come to life, David personally interviews our service partners and staff to ensure they identify with the same philosophy of cleaning.
The reason why David chose to focus on commercial cleaning spaces is because he realised that workplaces, more than other spaces, need a clean, bright, and well-kept atmosphere to function.
